Make sure you get to Muzz this coming Saturday March 16. Six Day Cycling will be there with free coffee to promote their fantastic track cycling event. We have two pairs of premium tickets for the event to be won just by racing (or volunteering) at muzz this Saturday, plus you'll go into a combined further draw for 2 VIP passes (these include centre field access and rider meet) that Six Day are sharing with Ipswich Cycling Club and Lifecycle Cycling Club - Brisbane. Race all three events and increase your chances. Tickets to be won at Muzz are for the night of your choice. Six Day Cycling combines the very best in track cycling with an incredible party atmosphere. Expect the action to come thick and fast as our track centre DJ keeps the party going before, during and after the racing. Brisbane is the final round of this years' series. Even if you miss out on winning tickets, get along to what's going to be a brilliant event, with many of our own Balmoral junior riders racing warm up events. Get down and support them. The Club, and indeed the broader cycling community, owe a debt of thanks to Kalvin Bartlett, Jenine Gale and Kevin White for their tireless efforts & commitment to our Club, & our sport, over many years as President, Secretary & Vice President respectively. As incoming President of Balmoral CC, it’s my pleasure to introduce the new Management Committee for 2019: President: Andy Moore Vice Presidents: Lisa Sherlock & Alex Griffiths Secretary: Sean Walsh Treasurer: Stephanie Robotham Personally, I’m honoured to have the opportunity to lead our fantastic Club, and carry forward the amazing work done by so many. We are running a women only crit this Saturday 2/3 in addition to our standard crit racing: - 6:45am start, 30min approx + 2 laps. - Registration from 6:20am - Women can choose to ride this race or their normal Muzza grade but NOT both. - Please contact Gino, if you don't already have a Murarrie grading. This will make registration much easier. email: firstname.lastname@example.org - We've pitched this as using our own Muzz gradings B, C & D, but we are really NOT expecting riders with CQ Women's A grading to choose this race. - Our normal A grade will be running concurrently and will likely pass several times. You need to be comfortable about riding with another group on the track and the potential for a big, fast bunch passing. ... See more

Hi, I was hoping to race tomorrow at Murrarie for the first time and I thought I just needed a license, which I have organised, and to register on the day. However I just read on the site that I need a grading? Not sure what this entails but is it possible to do in the morning? I’m a social rider and expect to struggle to keep up even in D grade but will try to get there a little early in case there is something else needed. Cheers Brad. ... See more
