About Us
Balmoral Cycling Club Incorporated is one of Queensland’s most active cycling clubs.
Originally formed in 1946 for local working men in the Balmoral and Bulimba areas, the Club now draws its members from across Brisbane.
We operate from a dedicated clubhouse and criterium circuit at the new Brisbane International Cycle Park, Murarrie Recreation Reserve, Brisbane.
Balmoral CC has developed into a racing-focused Club for male and female cyclists of all categories, including junior, elite, and Masters, and encourages participation for all levels of riders in a safe racing environment.
Balmoral CC is affiliated with AusCycling and assumes its relevant policies, strategies and governance arrangements.
On almost every Saturday morning of the year, we hold criterium racing at Muzz for elite through to junior grades. Our juniors also participate in an hour-long junior skills coaching clinic before/after racing each week.
We hold weekly Club track training, junior training and Club rides.
Annually Balmoral hosts Queensland’s largest women’s and junior competition, the Balmoral Junior and Women’s Tour, and our premier event the Balmoral Metropolitan Championships.
Balmoral Cycling Club proudly supports an elite men’s, women’s and Masters racing team.
