Balmoral Cycling Club Incorporated is one of Queensland’s most active cycling clubs.
Originally formed in 1946 for local working men in the Balmoral and Bulimba areas, the Club now draws its members from across Brisbane.
We operate from a dedicated clubhouse and criterium circuit at the Murarrie Recreation Reserve, Brisbane.
The Club has developed into a racing focused club for junior, elite, women and Masters riders and encourages participation for all levels of riders in a safe racing environment.
On almost every Saturday morning of the year, we hold criterium racing at Murarrie (Muzz) for elite through to junior grades. Our juniors also participate in an hour-long junior skills coaching clinic before/after racing each week.
We hold weekly Club track training, junior training and Club rides.
Annually Balmoral hosts Queensland’s largest women’s and junior competition, the Balmoral Junior and Women’s Tour, and our premier event the Balmoral Metropolitan Championships.
Balmoral Cycling Club proudly supports an elite men’s, women’s and Masters racing team.
To contribute to the sport of cycling, our members, and the community, by providing opportunities for competitive racing and skill development for junior, elite, women and Masters cyclists.
