All Balmoral Cycling Club activities are conducted under an approved COVID-safe industry plan.
Balmoral Cycling Club’s approach to COVID-safe activities continues to reflect Queensland Government directions for Queensland’s COVID Safe Future, and meets the requirements of the Outdoor Sports Industry COVID Safe Plan. All Balmoral Cycling Club activities are classified category three events involving less than 1,500 people per day on an outdoor site, and are currently deemed to have a low level of risk.
Our March 2021 COVID-Safe Plan Update supersedes all other COVID-safe plans. Participants must read, understand and comply with this plan prior to participation in Club activities. Our COVID-safe practices are updated to comply with all Queensland Government requirements issued from time-to-time.
Balmoral Cycling Club expects all members, participants, coaches, officials, volunteers and families to:
- Respect, and act in accordance with any directions issued by the Club in relation COVID-safe Club activities.
- Comply with the health directions of government and public health authorities as issued from time to time.
- Act with honesty and integrity in regard to the state of their personal health, and take a cautious approach to self-isolation and reporting of any potential symptoms.
All participants, volunteers and spectators at all Club activities (i.e. Muzz racing, Club Ride, Tuesday junior training, track training) are required to check-in using the Check In Qld app.
